Time Space Existence – Venice Biennale Architecture 2016
Wow, the Time Space Existence – Venice Biennale Architecture 2016. We really lucked out on the timing of our trip to Venice. Had I known this amazing string of art exhibits was going on, I would have structured the short trip a bit differently. We did have time to pop into this exhibit and it was one of the best exhibits I’ve ever seen, in one of the most amazing buildings.
I’ve posted some photos below, there were so many great works, each installation was very unique, all relating to architecture.
The above really intrigued me, I am not really sure why. It’s an interesting metal sculpture, but it also had a film being projected over it and it was in some way very striking. Hard to capture via a photo.
I wish I had more time to spend in this exhibit and all of the others all over the city. Venice is a super vibrant city with an amazing love of the arts.
Most people only spend a day or two there, doing the obligatory tourist stops, Venice is so much more than the church at San Marco – I encourage you to discover it for yourself. I know we’ll be going back as soon as we can.
